The 8th annual Balloon regatta in Page ARIZONA was in the hands of nature as a storm front made it's way through the area. Wind speed was too high for a safe flight until Sunday morning and then the spectacle of 50 hot air balloons filling the sky over Page was enjoyed by multitudes.
Plans changed when these 3 balloons congregated over a pond in the Golf Course causing us to stay a little longer. They could'nt have been more perfectly placed and and some friends from Atlanta and me worked it to the very last blast of Propane.
The event is the first weekend in November (Nov. 1-4 2012) and Pages biggest for the year. Expect almost 15 thousand guests to show up on Saturday for the dawn lift off and the Street Fair / Balloon Glow after dark. Lodging arrangements should be made well in advance,
